Everything you never wanted to know.

Hi Friends,

I've had a lot of different things to update about. However, I just hadn't had the time to sit down and type it out. I'll break it down into sections, this will help me stay focused.

Work.
Last week was really quiet in my place of work. It was quiet because 1) most of the staff was at a program off-site and 2) the other half was in and out most of the week due to Spring Break. It was a little sad at work, only because it was sooo quiet. However, I felt good about how many things I got accomplished.  I checked several items of my grand (never ending) to do list, and set some deadlines and priorities for the next few days.

Love, Life, Relationships
Forgive me. I say this WAY too often. BUT, I wouldn't say it if I didn't really believe it! Walking with my darling husband is the highlight of my day. It's like i've discovered how to spend even more time with my husband. If you have the opportunity to walk with someone you love. DO IT! You will NOT be sorry. We've had soooo many conversations about everything one could begin to imagine. It's not the walking, it's the extra time spent with the person you love. I'm not going to lie - I am SO spoiled.  I have been blessed to work in the same location as my husband. Therefore, I don't have to drive to work (I know, you're jelous). It's AWESOME!  Anyway, not sure how I got onto my spoildness, ...

5K Training
Okay, we are about 7 weeks away from the first 5K. Training has been going pretty well. I'm not to the point where I can job the full 3.1 miles. However, I DO notice big improvements in my energy, focus, stamina etc. I'm actually enjoying the jog.  Currently, we are trying to maintain the following workout schedule. ...

5:00 a.m.: workout (4 mile walk - leisurly, with the dogs)
[all day: work and make money to live and pay the bills]
6:30 p.m.-or-so:  jog 1 or 2 miles (depending on how much energy left from the day)

I've enjoyed working toward the goal of a 5K. I like it because it has an end date, and I have to push myself to WANT to train. It's not a grade, it's not anything other than personal satisfaction.

Healthy Weight
Since i've finally started to notice slight changes, I thought it was time to give a brief update on my weight loss. Since the second week of January, I have lost between 20-22 pounds. Sadly, when I look in the mirror, I feel like I look exactly the same. ... It's a little sad. Anyway, I have noticed that my clothes fit differently, and I feel good. SO,... that's good.  I feel extremely awkward updating this part - but i've had a lot of questions about it. To be honest, it's easier to type then to say. SO... there you go.

Change of Mindset
I'm really seeing a difference in the food I crave. I have developed a LOVE for fish. I really enjoy a good piece of fish with a little bit of rice. Additionally, I can almost tolerate yogurt (yogurt is discusting).

New Shoes!
I'd like to thank all the people who posted advice on my facebook wall about new shoes.
I have purchased a pair, but I feel that this was WAY too many words, so I'll post my review on another day.

MARATHON MONDAY: WDW MARATHON, Week 7

What happened during Week 7?  Well,... not a whole lot of running. In Fact, NO running - AT. ALL. Here's what did  happen! Sunday...
