Freedom & My November Run Schedule

Day 3.

I'm thankful for freedom.
I am thankful for the freedom I have in Christ.
I am thankful for the freedom I have in this country.
I am thankful for free will.

I am happy to report that I am still feeling a lot better. I'm strictly following my doctors orders, and have even put myself on a liquid / mashed potatoes & hummus diet. I am doing this so that there is very minimal chance of infection during the healing process. I tell ya, these Wisdom Teeth were crazy! My surgeon reminds me every week that I need to take it easy. ... Really? It's been almost 4 weeks!

I am coming into the busiest month of my running career so far. aahhh.... Here's the run down.

10 November - Miami Youth for Christ ZOO walk
This one should be fine, I only have to walk. So, it will be a good start for this girl who only puts her running shoes on to ... well, ... sit on the couch and "take it easy" ...

17 November - Pretty Muddy Miami
I'm excited about this run. Why?
1) It's my first Mud Run! (YAY)
2) It's not timed (so, if I start to get tired due to my lack of running since my wisdom teeth extravaganza it won't be the end of the world)
3) The whole event just looks UH - MAZING!

22 November - Turkey Trot 10K
My husband and I have decided to make this an annual thing for us. We've been married almost 4 years, and we really  haven't established holiday traditions. So, we are going to start with this one. Turkey trots are all over, and they are geared for FAMILIES! So, if at sometime down the line we are more than 2 + 2 Rat Terriers, we can still have this little healthy tradition!

How about all of you, what runs are you training for?
