A Sporty Little Christmas - Natalie

What is your favorite sport? 
My favorite sport is running. I love to run and get super cranky when I cannot.When I was diagnosed with a stress fracture, I thought my whole world would end.

What is your favorite race distance, and why?
My favorite race distance is currently the half-marathon. 13.1 miles is totally doable and you can easily set PR goals without people thinking you are completely crazy.

How long have you been running?
2 Years

What advice would you give to readers who have never run a race?
Train smart and listen to your body! Know the difference between injury pain.

What is your favorite race memory? 
My favorite race memory so far is when I ran the Historic Half. I was near the finish line and my husband and kids were along the side cheering me on. I was able to high-five them and that is what kept me going.

What are you most thankful for this Holiday Season?
I am most thankful for my family and their health. Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.
