Product Review: Vitacost

It seemed like only yesterday, but actually when I looked through my blog it was at Thanksgiving that I last blogged about Vitacost.com. If you aren't familiar, Vitacost.com it's a website to purchase health and beauty supplies at a discounted rate.

From the Website:
With Vitacost, you don't have to choose between stores that sell products you don't really want at super-low prices, and stores that sell the better health and wellness products you want at crazy-high prices. We offer over 2,000 of the top, most-trusted natural brands, diet foods and healthy living essentials-the very best nutritional supplements, whole foods and sports nutrition-at discount prices, up to 50% off. And we'll deliver them right to your door for FREE if your order totals $49 or more. Otherwise, shipping is just a small, flat-rate fee of $4.99, no matter how big the box.

The slogan for the company is that they "take the cost out of healthy living" As a runner on a budget, I'm always looking for opportunities to save money and eat healthy. I'm so thankful for Vitacost!

I recently had the opportunity to review two of the products found on vitacost. I decided to get a face wash as well as a pre-workout shake. (see, totally opposite!)

Product 1: Weider Crush Pre-Workout Mix.

Cost on Vitacost - 24.99
Taste: A little like Blue Raspberry Kool-aid.
Effects: I had a great run and was able to conquer some Jillian Michaels without a crash or any jittery effects on my body.
Would I buy this product?  Yes.

Other:
I loved that this product was low calorie. One full serving was only 40 calories. I liked this, because with some of the other pre-workout supplements you are adding about 100 calories to your diet before you even work out.

Product 2: Blum Naturals Exfoliating Daily Cleansing Towelettes with Microbeads
Cost on Vitacost: 3.39
Benefit: This is a product I love to have on hand for traveling, and as a random item in my make up case. Sometimes when you travel (especially if you fly) It's annoying to have so many bottles of products. This product is light weight, good for your skin and easy to pack in your purse.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Other things I like about Vitacost.
Shipping.
have never had a bad experience with shipping. Since I've lived in our current residence, I've always struggled with receiving packages. BUT with Vitacost, no issues at all! YEAH!!

Rewards Program.
Vitacost has a rewards program in which if you use my referal link, both you AND I get $10.00 to spend on the website! So, if you're interested, check it out!

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received

the above products mentioned in exchange for this post. The opinions are my very own.
