Top 10 Memories: Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of my top 10 memories from my recent trip to Colorado Springs!

Part 1.

Actually ... I was a guest  my husbands podcast show (The Christopher Jimenez Show) tonight. He talked about some of his favorite memories from the trip, and then asked me what my most favorite memory was. I'm a little camera shy when it comes to my voice, I always feel like my voice is young and kind of .... whiny. (haha just being honest).

Anyways. You can listen to the episode (It's Episode 21).

Number 5: The Bucket List
I was super excited to check off a bucket list item by running in the glow run. You can read the post here!

Glow Run.

Number 4: Road Trip!
Prince Charming and I rented a car, and since we aren't afraid of road trips (we actually love them) we took the LONG trip from Colorado Springs all the way up the top of the mountain to the Rocky Mountain State Park and explored Estes Park. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Everyone should go there. In fact, I want to go back!

Number 3: Chicken Petting Zoo
Okay, in Key West Florida it is not uncommon to see chickens roaming the street. Yes. Just like walking around like they own the place. For a while, we had a chicken running through our neighborhood. It was annoying because my little rats wanted desperately to chase it! ANYWAY! At the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, they had whole section with a chicken petting zoo. WHAT?! haha I loved it! Of course, I didn't go inside i'm actually not a fan of birds sooo, yeah. It was so funny to see. The Prince and I were laughing for a while about that one.

Number 2: The Olympic Training Center
How inspiring! Prince Charming and I had fun posing with all the statues, and exploring the history of the Olympics. There was a conference going on, so they didn't have the normal schedule of tours and informational videos. So, I was a little disappointed. I'd TOTALLY go back though.

Number 1:Giraffes!
Seriously. I've seen Giraffes before, BUT like ... there is something about the mountain and the exhibit that had about 20 Giraffes out in the exhibit and I'd read that there are 30 of them at the zoo. Sooo, that was pretty cool. BUT, the number one most exciting moments?

FEEDING the Giraffes!!!! I'd never done that before and I absolutely loved it!!

Question: Have you ever fed a Giraffe?
