If she's only just over 3 lbs, why have I gained...

Hooray, another Bumpdate! I feel like my blog consists entirely of bump dates, but I genuinely don't have much else to share. Since I like to keep my blog current with what's actually happening in my life, I guess we will stick to bump dates?

Today I enter into week 33 of pregnancy and things are going great. I had a little scare at week 31, but so far everything is fine. I plan to share my experience at week 31 soon, but I haven't quite found the words yet.

Here we go with some stats!

- Carrots
- Caramel Frap's from Starbucks (and a specific location at that...)
- sweets

Blood Pressure:
My last few appointments my BP has been around 90/60. It's funny, with my first pregnancy is was always 120/70 or around that range. Now, baby 3 (with two toddlers at home) you'd think it'd be a little higher but it's not. ... I've reached zen... You just need to have a bunch of toddlers, then going to the doctor will feel like a vacation.

Weight Gain:
Total weight gain this pregnancy is up to 12 lbs.

Babies Growth and Development:
During a recent ultrasound I was bombarded with questions galore about my previous pregnancies, the size of my babies, and other questions. I was then told that baby girl is growing slower than they'd like and that they wanted to do some additional monitoring to make sure she continues to grow.

Of course, I cried my eyes out googling all the terms I was told, but then I went to my OB and talked to him about it, and he reminded me that neither of my girls were very big at birth (6.1 and 6.3), so I shouldn't worry too much.

Monday I went back for a follow up ultrasound, and yep, baby girl is still measuring small but she is growing.

I don't really pay too much attention to ultrasound size predictions. Only because they told me that my oldest would be 8-9 pounds and she was barely 6 at birth. Soooooo, I just have a hard time believing the size predictions.

Things are going quite quickly for this pregnancy, I'm anxious to see how my 15 month old reacts to a new baby in the house. I'm pretty sure she suspects something is about to change because she is stuck to me like glue lately.

Question of the day: What's your favorite type of cake?
