Feeding and Growing
This month I felt like she was constantly eating, which made me constantly eat. Over Thanksgiving I was speculating that she had gone from 5.5 lbs at her month 1 appointment to somewhere close to 7lbs. Boy was I WRONG. She is now weighing in at 8lbs and 4 ounces! I was SO excited! I felt so proud of myself, it was a pride I don't know that I can describe or say that I've ever felt. Breastfeeding my first two was a disaster that ended in a lot of feelings of disappointment for me.
I am so proud of our little girl, she's so strong and so patient. I think it is because of her sweet and kind spirit I was able to figure this whole breastfeeding thing out.
Both girls are still thriving and loving their sister very much. The day before Thanksgiving we set up the Christmas tree. It's so beautiful to see them almost burst with excitement for Christmas. They spend a lot of time playing with the nativity scene under the Christmas tree, and I've even found a few ornaments tucked into bed with them when they wake up each morning.
Question of the day: What are you most excited about for this Holiday Season?
